DISCOVER VIVALDI'S FOUR SEASONS
Saturday, May 19, 2012, 7:00 pm
The Concert Hall at Drew University, Madison, NJ

Did you know that Vivaldi wrote this music to depict in more detail the verses of four highly descriptive sonnets?  Knowing exactly what music corresponds to these words remains a bit of an “in-house” secret among musicians.  Be there for the taping of this work for American Public Television, and get the “inside scoop!”  The Discovery Orchestra’s concertmaster, Peter Winograd, will be the violin soloist in what is arguably, the world’s favorite Baroque musical composition.

This concert will be performed in memory of William K. Hengen, Jr.

Join us for a post-concert reception in Mead Hall celebrating the taping of Discover Vivaldi's Four Seasons, the highlight of our 25th Anniversary Season. Click here for more reception information.
